Picnic Program-7 February 2026

Picnic Program at Chobhar, Manjushree Park – 7 February 2026

Chaukidanda Samaj successfully organized a Picnic Program at Chobhar, Manjushree Park on Saturday, 7 February 2026, bringing together members of the Chaukidanda Samaj who were living permanently or temporarily in Kathmandu, Nepal.

The picnic served as a meaningful get-together where members reconnected, shared personal and social experiences, expressed concerns and feelings, and strengthened mutual understanding. In the midst of Kathmandu’s busy urban lifestyle, many individuals had felt emotionally distant from their community and village roots. This program provided a relaxed and friendly environment to rebuild those connections and promote unity within the Chaukidanda community.

About Chaukidanda Samaj:

Chaukidanda Samaj is a social, educational, and service-oriented organization that has been actively working for the past 28 years. Established in 2054 B.S. (1997 A.D.) and officially registered at the District Administration Office, Kathmandu, the organization was formed to address the social, educational, and economic challenges faced by people from the Chaukidanda region.

Education has always been the core mission of Chaukidanda Samaj. The organization has provided scholarships to financially disadvantaged students, supported schools with academic and sports materials, and motivated young learners toward a brighter future. It strongly believes that education builds wisdom, ethics, and social responsibility, not just employment opportunities. Many beneficiaries of the organization’s support have now successfully contributed to society in various professions and services.

Strengthening Community Bonds:

The Picnic Program at Chobhar, Manjushree Park reflected Chaukidanda Samaj’s continued commitment to unity, emotional connection, and community development. Through open interaction and shared experiences, the program successfully strengthened relationships among members and preserved the collective spirit of Chaukidanda Samaj, leaving a lasting positive impact on the community.
